1. Create your account
Sign up at vaaadai.com/login with your email. You'll instantly get ₹20 in free credits, enough for about 4 minutes of test calls (at ₹5 per minute).
No credit card needed to start. You only pay when you decide to buy a phone number or add wallet credit.
2. Build your first agent
Head to the Agents page and click + New Agent. For your first one, we recommend starting with a template from our Agents Library. Pick the industry closest to yours and customize the prompt.
The most important fields:
- System Prompt. Tell the agent who it is and what it should do. The agent template gives you a good starting structure.
- Initial Greeting. The first thing the agent says when the call connects. Use
{{name}}to personalize. - Language and voice. Select your language from the dropdown — Vaaad Voice Auto handles all 24 languages in one engine. For most Indian business calls, Hinglish works best.

3. Test it with yourself
Click New Call at the top of any page. Type your own phone number. If you're already saved as a contact, you'll see a suggestion appear, click it to link the contact so variables get substituted. Select your agent, then click Start Call.
Answer the phone and run through the conversation. Try a few branches: ask questions, push back, agree, refuse. Listen to how the agent sounds. Iterate the prompt until it feels natural. Most good agents take 3 to 5 rounds of prompt tweaks before they're launch-ready.
4. Add your contacts (optional but worth it)
You can make calls without saving contacts, but the agent gets dramatically more personal when contacts are saved. Go to Contacts and either:
- Click + Add Contact to add one by hand
- Click Import to upload a CSV with your full database
Any extra CSV column beyond name, phone, email, company, tags automatically becomes a variable. A column named “Order ID” becomes {{order_id}} available in your agent prompts. So the agent can say “Hello Rahul, this is regarding your Honda Activa” instead of generic openers.

5. Complete KYC (for Indian numbers)
To make calls to anyone other than yourself, complete KYC verification in Settings, KYC. The fastest path is DigiLocker, which usually gives you instant approval. You'll need your PAN and Aadhaar.
For international (Twilio) numbers, no Indian KYC is needed, you can skip this step if you're only calling outside India.
6. Buy a phone number
In Settings, Phone Numbers, pick:
- An Indian number, for calling Indian (+91) numbers. Pricing varies by region, typically ₹200 to ₹500 per month plus a one-time setup fee.
- An international number via Twilio, for calling outside India. Available in 13+ countries. Typically $1.15 to $3 per month, billed in USD (Razorpay auto-converts to INR at checkout).
This number becomes your caller ID. Numbers activate in a few minutes after purchase.
7. Recharge your wallet
Add ₹500 or more to your wallet via Settings, Payments. Each minute of connected call costs ₹5. Add ₹500 for about 100 minutes of calls, or ₹2,000 for 400 minutes.
Top-up is via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Funds clear instantly for most methods.
8. Make real calls
Two ways to go live:
- One-off calls. Click New Call anywhere in the dashboard. Type a number, pick your agent, hit start. Saved contacts auto-link for personalized greetings.
- Campaigns. Upload a contact list and run a Campaign. Vaaad handles the dialing, retries, time-of-day rules, and the post-call analysis. You just watch results stream in.
9. Monitor and improve
Every call is recorded (if you enable recording) and analyzed automatically. In the Calls page you'll see for each call:
- Full transcript with timestamps
- Sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)
- Outcome tag (Lead, Booked, Not Interested, etc.)
- Goal achieved (yes, partial, no)
- A 1-2 sentence summary
Listen to 5 to 10 calls right after your first campaign. Catch any prompt issues early, fix them, then scale up confidently.
10. Connect to your CRM (optional)
Push call data automatically to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Zapier, Make, or any custom endpoint via webhooks. Set up takes about 5 minutes. Once connected, every call result flows into your CRM in real time, no manual export needed.
